Mother Hubbard’s is unique to Chicago according to the Chicago
Tribune. It is a neighborhood pub without a neighborhood. Nestled into the bustling visitor’s area of River North, Mother Hubbard’s presents a comfortable home-like oasis to locals and travelers alike.
Real old-fashion Chicago cooking is evident in the famous hand-formed, 11oz. double broiled burger. One Chicago food-critic
called it a "Banquet-on-a-bun". That phrase has caught on with the locals.
The BBQ baby back ribs are among the best in the city. Two
ribs joints have come and gone trying to compete with Mother Hubbard’s.
Mother Hubbard's Jumbo chicken wings were chosen #1 by CBS-TV's citywide poll. Not bad considering we have 6.000 restaurants in Chicago.
Fresh salads, homemade soups and a Mexican specialties round out the dining menu.
The homemade Mother Hubbard’s thin crust Chicago pizza is a huge favorite of local bartenders, wait staff and locals for their late night, after-work meal.
The kitchen stays open every night until 3:00 am. Restaurant and bar workers know where good food is served. |
